I’ve run the repair disk at least three times. I’ve seriously tried this around 25 Times today, which is extremely time consuming considering it takes 5-20 minutes to get into the recovery mode. I’ve tried re-installing, the download starts, but won’t get far in those ten seconds before it freezes again. The freeze occurs even if I don’t touch the computer.

I managed to erase and partition the Macintosh HD once, rest of the times I haven’t been fast enough before the freeze. After about ten seconds, the MacBook freezes entirely. Now: I can’t boot from the recovery partition, I have to use internet recovery. It boots, I get logged in, five-ten seconds later it reboots, displaying the “your computer restarted because of a problem.”-message. (During this time, I restarted the Mac about five times just to make sure it booted properly). Upgraded to High Sierra, kept it awake and running for two days straight. Three days ago, I gave it a last go, and I don’t know what happened, but I was able to reinstall El Capitan, ran it for some hours. I wasn’t even able to reinstall the first 20+ Attempts, due to kernel panics.

A couple of weeks passed, then it got unbearable. Then upgraded to Sierra, which started giving kernel panics pretty soon, updated to High Sierra, kernel panic frequency stayed the same. I started with El Capitan, trying to rule out hardware errors, used it for half a day without troubles.

It then escalated to the point that I decided to reinstall.

Then, after updating to High Sierra, I started getting kernel panics with different reports every time a few times per day. It came with El Capitan, worked like a charm, the same goes for Sierra. My MacBook Pro 13” (Early 2015) is malfunctioning.
